FLYING ANGELS PROGRAMS
One Club. One Journey. Unlimited Potential.
Flying Angels Track & Field offers a progressive development pathway designed to meet athletes at different stages of their track and field journey.
Athletes can participate in one of four program streams:
-
Practice Squad
-
Development Stream
-
Competitive Stream
-
Elite Stream
Our athletes are also organized into three training divisions:
ELEMENTARY DIVISION
Elementary school-aged athletes train together in age-appropriate groups with an emphasis on athletic development, proper technique, speed, coordination and confidence.
HIGH SCHOOL DIVISION
High school athletes train together in a more advanced training environment designed to develop their speed, strength, technique and competitive performance.
COLLEGE / OPEN DIVISION
College, university and Open athletes train together in an advanced environment designed for athletes continuing their development beyond high school.
Athletes may train at different levels within the same division. For example, a High School athlete in the Development Stream and a High School athlete in the Competitive Stream may attend the same High School practice while following training and competition expectations appropriate to their program.
PRACTICE SQUAD
TRAIN. LEARN. IMPROVE.
The Practice Squad is our most flexible training option.
It is designed for athletes who want to attend Flying Angels practices and improve their speed, fitness, running technique and overall athletic ability without committing to the full competition schedule of our Development or Competitive programs.
WHO IS IT FOR?
The Practice Squad is an excellent option for:
-
Multi-sport athletes looking to improve speed and athleticism
-
Athletes preparing for school sports
-
Athletes who want dedicated track and field coaching
-
Athletes who are not ready to commit to competitions
-
Athletes who want to experience Flying Angels before progressing to another stream
Practice Squad athletes attend regular Flying Angels practices with athletes in their appropriate division.
