COACHING OPPORTUNITIES

Help Develop the Next Generation of Athletes

Great coaches do more than teach technique. They build confidence, develop character, create positive environments, and help young athletes discover what they are capable of achieving.

Flying Angels is continually expanding our coaching team at locations throughout Ontario.

We are interested in hearing from coaches with experience in:

Sprints
Hurdles
Middle & Long Distance
Long Jump & Triple Jump
High Jump
Throws
Youth & Athlete Development
Strength & Conditioning

We welcome applications from experienced coaches, former athletes, teachers, university and college students, and individuals interested in developing as track and field coaches.

Coaching opportunities may be available on a part-time, seasonal, or contract basis depending on the location and program.

What We Look For

Flying Angels coaches should be:

Passionate about working with children and youth
Dependable and professional
Positive and encouraging
Committed to athlete development
Comfortable working as part of a coaching team
Willing to learn and develop as a coach
Able to create a safe and welcoming training environment

Relevant coaching certifications and previous experience are assets. Requirements may vary depending on the position.

Gain Real-World Sports Industry Experience

Flying Angels provides opportunities for students to gain practical experience within a growing sports organization.

Placements may be available for high school co-op students and college or university students studying areas such as:

Sport Management
Business Administration
Marketing
Communications
Social Media
Event Management
Photography & Videography
Kinesiology
Recreation & Sport
Office Administration

Students may have opportunities to contribute to real programs, competitions, events, marketing campaigns, and administrative projects while developing valuable workplace experience.

Help Us Deliver Great Competitions

Flying Angels hosts track and field competitions throughout the year and regularly requires experienced and developing officials to help deliver safe, organized, athlete-focused events.

We welcome:

Certified Track & Field Officials
Developing Officials
Former Athletes
Coaches
Adults Interested in Learning to Officiate

Depending on the competition and assignment, officials may receive an honorarium and event hospitality.
